Base structure made from iron rods bent to specification, welded and covered in wire mesh and filled with concrete coloured in earth tones.

This work applies the relationship between matter, form and meaning in relation to the passing of time. Commissioned by Gabi Ben Gano to participate in ‘Sculpture in the Little Forest’ Exhibition.
The process of up-scaling the initial 10cm maquette to a public space display inspired me to explore the Fibonacci numbers. Where each number includes all the numbers that has been before +plus a natural extension of growth.
The mathematics unlocked an organic progression of structure, allowing me to scale the forms to any size I wished.
The Fibonacci number sequences echoed the notion of fecundity. The vessel representing birth and creation.
Chosen to permanently stand at the western entrance to the city of Ra’anana.
Where it still stands and maintained by the city council.
